Kalli Betemps, RMT
Kalli has always held an interest in health care. She has seen firsthand the difference compassionate and educated care can make in someone’s life. She connected with the empathetic approach that massage therapy provides and decided to pursue the career by enrolling in Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy and graduated in January 2018. She enjoys being a massage therapist because of the connection she is able to make with her patients. Kalli is passionate about facilitating healing in order to improve each patient’s quality of life. She does this by incorporating both relaxation and therapeutic massage to create a soothing environment while also treating effectively. She loves working with patients of all ages with any type of condition, but has a special interest in chronic pain, postural dysfunction, headaches, and stress management.
Kalli uses a variety of techniques in her treatments including myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, and trigger point therapy. She encourages the use of therapeutic exercise in her client’s lives to prevent further injury or dysfunction.
When not in the clinic, Kalli spends her leisure time doing yoga, reading, or exploring around the Okanagan.
Kalli treats patients Tuesdays and Fridays 9:15 am to 5:15 pm; Wednesdays 11:30 am to 6:30 pm; and Thursdays 11:15 am to 7:15 pm.
